About Universal Tires
Universal Tires is one of the tire shops listed in Flushing, New York. The business is registered at 60-11 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11377; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Universal Tires at (718) 726-0036; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Unfortunately blew my tire on a Sunday afternoon on our way to the Astoria food festival. Found this tire shop that's ope. 24 hours. The work was fast and efficient. Large rim tire change was 100 flat. CASH ONLY. 7 11 nearby if you need an atm. Taco bell across the street.

One star because they really tried to rip me off! After convincing me to change my TPSM sensor for a 3rd tire..went to get some coffee as they were servicing my car ..my fault for not checking before leaving shop, but after i paid them 405 for the three tire TPSM (135 per tire) plus a tip…and no intent to stop me because he counted the money while still in the shop…I get home and noticed he only changed two TPSM. I had to go away for the night so had to return two days later. Might have thought because I was a woman ..oh she won’t notice…no sir I for sure noticed and better believe I went back to make sure to get that sensor changed. Only to hear the excuse of “oh yeah we tried to stop you after I counted the money, I didn’t know you wanted all three sensors replaced” SHAME ON YOU because you clearly said I needed the three replaced at 135 a piece, you really just had the intention of taking my money thinking I won’t notice. So upsetting for this dishonest behavior from a so called professional tire shop better believe this will be the last time going there. For future customers please read this and make sure to observe what they are doing and ask for a receipt!!

Way too overpriced. Quality isn’t even worth the price. Much bigger companies with better service even charge less. Many other shops to go to in the neighborhood 👎🏼

Okay. Dont go there. I went for tire with a nail, and also rotation, simple right. The guy tell me no he cant rotate, wait what im paying for a rotation, also balance. Is like I force his hand to do the work. 2 days later I notice the steering wheel shake driving under 5 mph. PRIOR to this no problem. The simplest tire balancing they cant seem to get right.
